Last night we were so excited to attend the launch of Sydney based stylist, Mr Jason Grant’s much anticipated new book; A Place Called Home. It’s a beautiful book, full of the things he loves and tips for interior design and styling. It’s a quintessentially Australian book, that just sings summer, the beach and a relaxed but stylish lifestyle.
Karen McCartney (Temple and Webster Editor) summed the book up beautifully, describing it as an Instagram journal of sorts. Published by Hardie Grant, the book is dense with beautiful images by photographer James Geer.
A clearly emotional and a little overwhelmed Jason said the book perfectly reflected his style and thanked his support team for their faith in him and getting this project over the line.
One of the things we love about Jason’s style is that he advocates recycling and repurposing. It’s a great passion of ours, to try to keep our “footprint” to a minimum. The “Rethink” section of the book really sang to us here at No Chintz.
We just know that this is a book that will inspire and energise and we LOVE the extensive resource section in the back!!
We loved the fabulous cocktail on arrival. This beautiful Regal Rogue vermouth cocktail perfectly reflected Jason’s style… summery, relaxed, refreshing…
This is the book you need on a day like today… it’s raining in Sydney… grey and dull. This book will remind you of the summer…
