Pretty trims

We have a great collection of trims and tapes in our stores. We love using them to zhoosh up curtains, cushions, blinds… all manner of soft furnishings. Adding a decorative trim can take a  plain fabric from one dimension to something really stylish, while adding a trim to a patterned fabric makes for a sophisticated finish. Using our trims, breathe some fresh air into an existing and possibly tired piece. Restyle/recycle your soft furnishings into something fresh and contemporary. Starting at just $1.00 p/m, using trims and tapes is a really cost effective way to style up your soft furnishings!

Check out some of our trims and projects:

These curtains above, were made for our Balmain store. The curtain fabric is our new ikat, Lomandra in Tangerine ($75 p/m). The top bind of ribbon and bottom bind in Mahesh Charcoal ($58p/m) make for a sophisticated look.

Above, we dressed up a block stripe with some pretty designer fabric and luxe decorative trim.

With the curtain above, we took a beautiful, but plain linen and added a number of decorative trims for a fun and stylish curtain. We also added one of our trims to the shade to work it back with the curtains.

Above we added a bottom bind of Catstripe Multi Aqua ($45 p/m) and some twill tape to zhoosh up a plain curtain.

Jan, from our Willoughby store, put these cushion covers together using a collection of linen and plain fabric remnants and then added a variety of trims to further dress the cushions. We love the subtle sophistication…

We’re adding to our trims and bindings all the time; check out our online store or come into our stores and talk to one of our designers about how you might use trims and bindings to bring your soft furnishings back to life.
